\"\"We are thrilled to welcome Andreas Gustafsson as Visiting Fellow here at the SCCL and the Swedish Corporate Governance Institute (SCGI)! Andreas has a deep expertise in capital markets law and regulation, moving from senior leadership roles into the position of doctoral researcher. He has just embarked on a research project where he will compare the UK and Swedish equity markets to identify and organise regulatory conditions that supports growth in the wider economy. He describes the output as advancing the \u201cequity market ecosystem\u201d into a research-based theory, informed by current economic knowledge and the last 20-30 years of regulation and public policy initiatives in EU, Sweden and UK. This aims to offer a map to guide the assessment and proposal of new initiatives, including those currently discussed. We look very much forward to following this project and learning from Andreas.
