Obituary Per Jonas Nordell

The professor of private law, as well as the image creator and poet, Per Jonas Nordell has left us suddenly and unexpectedly. He is missing us. Several of us here at the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law knew Per Jonas as a long-term colleague and good friend, and we were delighted when it became known about a year ago, that Per Jonas would move to the Centre, which took place in September 2024. However, the company and collaboration were sadly interrupted, but we did get a glimpse of Per Jonas’ abilities at the latest Research day at Åkeshof Castle last spring, when Per Jonas guided us through the castle park and the Judar Forest to Lake Judarn, his childhood region, where he read one of his subtle poems. We all feel the loss of a colleague and we think of him.
