The Tax Law Friends currently consists of Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and Svalner, and is organized through the Foundation for Support to Tax Law Research at the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law. The purpose of the foundation, which was registered in 2017, is to provide support to improve and expand scientific research in tax law and to contribute to the possibility of disseminating research results to the legal practice, within the framework of the Tax Law Department at the Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law (SCCL), at the Faculty of Law, Stockholm University. The support provided by the Foundation is primarily directed to the Tax Law Department of the SCCL, through annual grants or directly to individual researchers in the form of research grants. Occasionally, the Foundation may also provide support to other scientific research projects related to the Faculty of Law at Stockholm University.
